I keep starting my 5:2 diet and then something happens during the day so I start again the next day! I am now eating food as recommended by the fit 4 life programme, their menus are quite good and different. They give the calorie value of each meal- their latest thing is a flip chart which gives breakfasts, lunches and dinners, all interchangeable and you get plenty of variety with it.
The weather is still cold which puts me off going out, so not much exercise going on in my house.
162.0 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 8.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hi kay, i also do the 5:2 diet and found it hard to stick to 4-500 calories a day, what i now do and find it really easy is on a monday evening after dinner 5:30 to 6 pm i eat nothing for 24 hrs until wednesday evening's dinner, however i do drink lots of water which takes away any hunger pangs which only last a minute or two also i drink tea,nit seams to work for me, it might not for everyone, i do the same after dinner on wednesday evening by not eating after 5:30 to 6 pm until thursday evening,the other day's i eat healthily with plenty of fruit and veg, the occassionally i have a treat with a weight watchers chocolate torte, hope this helps.
