I have been following my diet religiously and sticking to 1500 calories per day and exercising for 1 hour a day. We do a 5 km walk everyday and have started off with a normal pace and will move up with running added in as soon as the rest of the group are a little bit fitter (we walk everyday at work as we have a biggest loser challenge on and being in the Police force we are expected to be slim and fit). I therefore add in a bit of weight training on my own as well because I find the walk alone does not really make much of a difference. I have started drinking green tea and lemon juice every day to detox and find I am battling a bit now because of the headaches from my body getting rid of all the toxins. I stick to mainly chicken and fish, lots of veg especially brocolli, carrots, salads and fat free yoghurt and milk and have bran cereal every morning. Just a bit disappointed at my slow weight lose but will see at next weigh in. Good luck to everyone else out there. See you at the finish line.
173.1 lb Lost so far: 1.1 lb.    Still to go: 23.1 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

The exercise you are doing can make your muscles retain water to help them heal. Once they are used to the exercise it will go away. It can show on the scale as a temporary gain, small loss or no loss. Don't stop what you are doing. Google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. It's eye opening. Changes happen in our bodies that we don't always see on the scale. You will be losing inches/fat. The scale will eventually catch up.

Telle73, I like your exercise ideas. You're doing very good! Don't worry, the scale will catch up. Like Suzi mentioned, give it a couple of days, and try to weight in the mornings before you eat! Thx for sharing.
