So, weight is the same as it was yesterday - which is fine, although I fasted, I didn't um...have a BM before I weighed, so fair enough.

Ok, it's 2lb over my goal weight - 2.5lb over my lowest, but you know what? I'm fine with that. I had the flu, I ate a lot because my body was calling out for food and I didn't exercise or even move much - I'm glad it wasn't more weight! My clothes still fit the same, so when I do my fortnightly measure on Sunday, I think everything will be the same - which is also fine; tbh, I can't lose that many more inches without struggling to buy clothes. My thighs and bottom are still a lot slimmer and thats how this whole thing started anyway!

I ate nothing for about 21 hours yesetrday (fast day) and then noodle soup with some meat when I got home (late - bad day at work) cooked by my beloved partner. It was delicious and it might have been a little more than 500, maybe pushing 600 - but thats ok too. The important thing is I've got control back. After eating when I was ill, a part of me thought "who cares, lets just carry on" - but I didn't listen, ate well on Wed (well, until Wed night when I had a fair amount of chocolate - but as I'm giving it up for Lent, thats allowed!) and well, I've demonstrated how well I did yesterday. The number on the scales doesn't really matter that much - it's an indicator. Obviously if it said 9st then we might have an issue, but hopefully my clothes and fortnightly measurements would have indicated that too!

Today, I'm out to a noodle place for lunch, so I will eat something packed with veges and then just have one piece of fruit as a snack/desert, rather than using the main meal as a substitute for my sandwich and still eating the same number of snacks, even though my meal is many more cals than my sandwiches! Pasta tonight and I will have less than I would usually.

So...I'm in control again and feeling positive - I'm in a good place, I know I can lose the weight again, (I wasn't going to post the weight on FS, but then I thought - hey, who's in control of who here!?) should I need to, but more importantly, I'M in control - I didn't have a heart attack when I saw the scale had gone up, I just thought "ok, thats interesting" - I don't think there's any gain in inches (will confirm and post on Sunday) and I'm wearing last Friday's gorgeous new trousers!!

What a journey this is turning out to be - looks like I'm getting a handle on my ED after many many years...

All is good, and sooo looking forward to my first cup of tea with skimmed milk since Wednesday when I get back from my meeting!!

tbh this is now a loss of just under 5lb in a month, which is more along the lines of what I set out to do anyway! I think the weight dropped off too quickly towards the end (nearly 3lb in 1 week) and I don't feel so sickly/faint as I did before.

I think you are doing fabulously! Maybe instead of a set number, we should strive for a small range. Just as you saw the number up, you will also see it dip again no doubt! You ARE in control! Keep being good to yourself! :)
