GOOD THURSDAY EVENING...

First, thank you all for your prayers, good thoughts, and candles for Christina Marie. They are making a difference! I will continue to update as I get more information.

Things here are good...we went to mom's house last night and played Rummy and Yahtzee...I won the Rummy game, mom won all the Yahtzee games. Dan didn't win anything, bless his heart! We had a great visit. I always take low carb snacks and count them as my lunch. Mom likes that, and has started asking me "What kind of goodies do you have in the bag today?" LOL Her little Silky, Yadi, likes the stuff I bring as well, especially the green olives and dill pickles...he is so darned cute! He stands on his back feet and chews those up, smacking his lips. :)

I got the house cleaned up again today. It seems like lately the day I clean it warms up and rains. That means the furbabies track up my clean floors right off the bat! Oh, well, they bring such joy, I am willing to re-mop as often as needed. Wiping their feet doesn't do much good when they are running through mud puddles all day long. Dan did the bathrooms and then corralled them in the bedroom while he did his Rosary so I could at least get all the floors done once without remuddying the hardwood.

Dan is making me hamburgers for dinner tonight with a side salad and some veggies. I am thinking brussels sprouts. Oh, and I picked up a Himalayan Pink Salt grinder yesterday at Costco...it is lower in sodium and has other minerals that are supposed to be really good for you. Been reading about it, and watching for the price to come down! It finally did, so I got some, and I really like it.

Exercise was house cleaning.

Well, that's all the news that's print from my corner...hope all is well in yours!

TTFN!

~Stef~

Clean floors? Is that even really possible? Well I mean for more than the time it takes the floors to dry.

Oh, so good to hear that she might be improving! Glad you enjoyed your games and snacks - sounds like fun! Good for you cleaning those floors - I end up thinking "Why bother?? It will just get muddy again!!" It's dangerous thinking... :)

Erika, you have no idea how close I came to saying "Why bother?" today. lol You can't tell I did it now, but I know it is cleaner than it was before I started! :)

Hey Stef, Dan won you guys. He's the big winner. Good job on the healthy snacks, giving your mom and Yadi cool things to look forward to, the housecleaning workout (when can you and Sk1nny Pam come visit me?). Doing the rosary with fur babies must take a whole other level of focus. Haha. Have a great day. And do tell of your Himalayan pink salt experiment findings.

Pam..it sure seems like a lot of exercise when I am doing it! And I love it when the floors are clean. One of the drawbacks of no carpet is you see and feel every little bit of dirt. That is why I love my Swiffer vacuum. Makes the everyday clean up of the flora a whole lot easier! Have a wonderful weekend.

Awww, thanks Heather, but I am the big winner...I got Dan! He is wonderful! As for Dan's rosary and the furbabies...it is funny...he does it twice a day and goes into the bedroom...no matter where they are, they always come to the door to be let in, go back and scratch on the door, and join hi, while he prays. Really sweet! I like the pink salt...nice flavor, very fine grind, and less sodium. Have a great weekend...try to stay warm and be safe! Hugs!

Bren, I was glad to hear that as wel. Sure wish my garage floor was painted! Would make it so much easier to keep clean. Mom's little dog is adorable. We always take our Pyrenees/Aussie mix and they have a blast! Have a great weekend! Love and hugs!
