This may seem like a simple concept, but I just now see how versatile lettuce leaves can be. I have made BLT's before, but a couple strips of bacon and a slice of tomato in lettuce...no big deal. But, tonight we had tacos in lettuce shells. I wasn't sure how they would work, but....lllooovvveee. A little messy, yes. Alotta delicious, yes. This has opened up a whole new world of food to me. Bacon, egg and cheese wraps in the am, tuna wraps for lunch. I get crunch, low carb and low calorie. Win. win. win.

Lettuce wraps are soo good. Lots of choice in kinds of lettuce as well. Chinese cabbages such as nappa work well also. Any large leaf greens work, spinach is awesome for wraps

Ummm that sounds good! I've had the taco/lettuce wraps before and they are delicious.. tonight as a matter of fact I had a hamburger with grilled mushrooms, onions, and mustard wrapped in lettuce.. Yummy!!
I think I am going to try the egg, bacon wrap tomorrow morning!
It's always nice to find something new and exciting to eat and enjoy!
