Todays fast is going well, don't even feel hungry - but judging by the amount I ate when I was ill - I'm not surprised! I really did eat whatever I wanted.

I did do a sneaky weigh this morning - not as bad as I'd feared (2lb heavier), hope to weigh in properly tomorrow when hopefully it's a little less.

Feeling pretty down at work at the moment - I have a lot to do, and I am off a bit next week (I'm going to London one day to see some consultants about the whole redundancy thing - unfortunately, I've got to go on a fast day as I'm hoping for some time off on Friday for some fun school Governor duties - part of me thinks I shouldn't be doing these things when I have so much to do, but - sod 'em, what have they done for me?!), then off the whole week after that. I have stupid deadlines that I'm going to miss cos I can't start work on them yet as the work that needs doing before I start won't be done in time. Which is just so disheartening to know I'm going to be late before I even start. Tried explaining all the amount of work to the team leader who just looked at me like I was speaking German - its about 4x as much work as anyone else, the deadlines are sooner and the work I need to be completed before I can start, is the furthest back, but....apparebtly I am speaking German! ;)
