So this might be a little long....

First I had an amazing weekend. Got the house clean Saturday and spent all day with my friend and our kids Sunday. Her son and 3 of mine kids are in wrestling. My oldest took 3rd because the last was a no show. He does so good at it but he is always over thinking it and will miss out on opportunities to take kids down. He knows it really well just thinks to hard about what to do next. But he has improved so much in 3 years I am so proud of how hard he works at it. He even practices on his own time sometimes. My daughter has still not won a match. I feel so bad for her she is all arms and legs. She is super tall and thin as a rail. She has definitely made the most improvement this year. I am so proud she is working so much harder. And it's not over yet so we will see how she does. Then there is my boy with a smile that will light up a room. He took 1st! He won all three of his matches and he is good. Wrestling is just a natural thing for him. He made me so proud this weekend because on his last match when he started to get upset he didn't give up. He might have been crying but he pushed through and gave it his all! I love that kind of determination and strength! My babies are the light of my world! I love how they are all different and I love all that the bring to this world.
I was so tired after I got home though Sunday. I only had 4 hours of sleep that night because my mom got back late and I told her I would help her get everything ready for her to teach my Sunday school class the next day. We made some cute little heart baskets out of felt, yarn and chenille wire. Then on pieces of paper we put different stuff like lying, cheating, stealing or love, sharing, God on others to let them decide what they want to put in their hearts. My mom ended up not doing the lesson because only one young kid came to Sunday school the next day because so many were sick. But o well no planning for next week.
I did make up some deep fried spicy chicken legs, jalapeno popper, bbq fries and cornbread for supper for the family and my friend and her kids. They loved it. I however being a good girl ate only one fry and then ate my own healthy dinner.
I didn't however get any exercise in Saturday or Sunday. But I did eat healthy all weekend. The scale showed it too today because....

I GOT A BLUE BAR!!!!!

How awesome is that! So that being said I am thinking I will drop my goal weight down another 5 when I hit my current goal. I definitely do not think that in 2.6 pounds I am gonna be like ya this looks good. Probably would help if my skin would play a little catch up with all my hard work.
Yesterday went pretty good. was still feeling lethargic from Sunday but got my second wind and knocked out my weights and cardio. Today I am back to awesome, sunny self! I think I got caught up on everyone's journals again too. I don't like when I miss out on you guys! Hope your week is beautiful everyone! :P

It sounds like a busy, but a fun-filled weekend. It is true how you can have two kids that are completely opposite and the love for each of them is a special, but somewhat different love. Even though my boys are young adults now, it's wonderful to sit back and see not only the brotherhood that I knew was always there, come out, but the friendship that they both have built. Congratulations on the BLUE BAR!! That is awesome - you are doing amazing, keep up the good work :)

Yay! Awesome! Go blue! As far as wrestling, you are definitely braver than I am...I think I would have a heart attack if my boys wanted to join wrestling when they get older. I'm hoping they are into less violent sports, like golf. Art and music would make me happy too! :) But, boys will be boys, and I'm sure they won't go easy on my nerves...they haven't so far. lol

I’m glad you had a fantastic weekend! It’s always fun to relax with friends and family. I hope your daughter wins a match soon, but I’m sure she knows that winning isn’t everything; as long as she is having fun. :D You have such admirable willpower; I always have to have a little of whatever I am cooking... then a little more. :) Congrats on the blue bar, I'm so proud of you!

I always tell my kids as long as the try as hard as they can they are always winners to me. If they aren't happy with how they are doing they need to practice more. I really want to learn all about it so I can help them do better.
