I am really struggling with fighting the sense of defeatism. Feel really weak and tired today. I was reminded in one of my meditations today, what I resist, persists in life. I want to control the effects of everything I put into my mouth. Yet, I continue to give into the cravings of sweets and chips.

I was just strolling down memory lane with one of my buddies reminding myself of how far we had journeyed coming from a weight where crossing our legs was difficult, if not impossible. I fell off the wagon big time this past week as I struggled with some increased stress in my life. I like your meditation - it is very true, but I struggle with its brevity and want to add to it. I do need to resist some things (chips and sweets among them!) that are not good for me. I do not want them to persist. The part I want to add to the meditation is that you can embrace things that are good for you - good for your health and your psyche. Good health is a daily journey and we are here with you; trying to make good food choices, incorporating movement in our lives, and finding new ways to make peace with food. Let me know if you need anything (I am on here every day!) and thanks for being my buddy!

Wow, I thank you for your support, wisdom and encouragement. I have not been on this site for several days. Our family had a great loss and I did not tap into this support until now. Thank you too for being my buddy.
