Something Drastic Has To Happen !

Those were the words of my Doctor after I told him my 78year old father just passed away from a a majorheart attack and stroke. If my Doctor was trying to scare me it worked

I am 48 years old. 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh 359.8 pounds. Yes, thats right I have 200+ pounds to loose.

I have a list of health problems, Fibromyalgia, complications after gall bladder surgery, back problems, high blood pressure, acid reflux, and depression. I take 4 different Rx meds daily. My last round of blood tests revealed elevated blood sugar levels.

I am not starting a diet, I am comitting to a lifestyle overhaul.
A diet has a begining and an end. I now know that there is no going back to the way I used to eat. It has to be a permanent change in lifestyle.

I was very sucessful 15 years ago losing 100 pounds with a combination of Atkins and Weight Watchers. Why did I not keep it off? I let life get in the way. I reverted back to the old habit of comfort eating when life got difficult. I know now I can't do that.

If it takes 2 years or 5r years I am comitted to making this a permanent change. I have a wonderful 6 year old son who deserves to have his Mommy around for many years to come.

I sincerely hope you stick with something that works for you and keep it off once you lose it. I am so worried about a good friend with health issues as well that are weight related.

You can do it if you truly want it bad enough! Atkins I think will be a good fit for you. Just think how excited you will be when you go to your next doctor visit. You will be proud to get on that scale!
