I have been low carbing for a few months - - have already lost about 50 pounds - - I have gotten addicted to the scale other times while dieting, so I sort of ignore it now...

I have decided that this isn't just a lose weight situation, but the way I am planning to eat for the rest of my life.... If I get smaller in the process, that's cool.... But I do feel better and I am trying to avoid getting trapped in the process - - I eat to live....
300.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 130.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

Wow, 50 lbs. is great. I just started Atkins and am seeing the scale move the first time in a long time. I use to do Zumba classes and workout like crazy and nothing happened. Now I just cut out the starches and see the scale move. Congrats on your success. I just realize now that I can't eat like my family does. But I am starting to find the friendly foods that my body likes. I think what is getting me through is slathering butter on everything. It makes me so satisfied.
