Well I liked the Piloxing class so much on Tuesday that I went again last night. That was not a brilliant idea on my part. I am now sitting here with my knee brace on today :-( On the plus side I know that if I take it easy for a day or two I should be able to take it off then.

I'm frustrated because I tried to do too much too fast and now I can't do anything. I'm frustrated that my body thinks one class every day is too much just yet. I know, I know in time it won't be too much, in time I'll be sailing through 2 classes a day but for now I'm not and patience has never been my strong suit!

Espically when I know from my measurments that I've lost 3.25inches just this week alone, who wouldn't want to jump back into working out every day after being able to see verifiable results that yes, it's working! Okay, yes the 3.25inches is a grand total from all measurments, and sure some of them aren't much, such as 1/4in off each upper arm, but I feel like if I can do that, even 1/4in after just 4 days of busting my butt, I could be at the size I need to be for my surgery by the begining of June! That's a wonderful incentive to me. However that's not taking into account me taking a break or a "day off" at all which as my knee is telling me I do need to do still.

Hence some of my frustration, I'm definitely a results, goal-oriented person and to have to sit on the sidelines when I know what kind of results I could be obtaining for myself just makes me cranky today.


Thanks for this journal. I think I am trying to do too much too. I must take a leave from your book of experience asap and slow down.

Absolutely! if your trying to do too much all at once your body will protest and you'll be forced to stop for longer than you wanted. Ease into it and then it'll be a permanent change, with permanent results :-D
