My new weight didn't show up in my challenge and so I re-weighed today. I am happy to report that my new weight held up to the test of time!

Part of my cardio this morning included scooping walks. I scooped my driveway and then the whole cul de sac. Nice! No idea how to calculate calories burned, but I sure am feeling invigorated.

I can't bring myself to watch the entire Biggest Loser show; I can't imagine someone standing next to me yelling, insulting, encouraging the whole time I was working out. I think I would punch someone. I did catch a few of the weigh ins though. Whew! They lose a lot in just a week. Too bad work, parenting, and life in general cut into my weight loss time!

Have a great day FS buddies and members!

That's funny, that part of Biggest Loser does not bother me; but I can't watch it for the crying and whinning! When it first started the contestants didn't cry and whine so much, but the past years they have been so annoying. Do they not watch the show before the apply to be on it? It is hard, they will yell, and you will bust butt in the gym. I really don't know what they were expecting. But I do like to see how much the lose, and the final show for the winner!

Congrats on the new weight, but you must tell me what scooping walks are?

Scooping/shoveling the snow off the sidewalks is a lovely way to get some cardio in when you live in a place where it snows. Sorry Ruth! I take my decades of living in Colorado for granted!

Paula, I'm with you re TBL. I have tuned in twice hoping for inspiration but unlike HERE I just don't feel that inspired because I know *I* can't lose ... what was it.. 11lbs in one week? I should probably google 'past contestants' to see how they're doing with maintenance. Anyway - I know what you mean about the scooping - I think that too when I do something very physical that isn't an exercise. But I record my 24 hour day as sleeping anyway :-) HAve a great day!
