Okay well I did not enter my weight of 205.8 yesterday, but said I would enter today. It is 205.2 today. I need to remind myself that the bastard TOM is here kicking my ass and as such he has me bound up I know I need to void but right now cannot....sure I will later. (a few years ago my doctor told me to take colon ease everyday which I do; so I cannot imagine how bad it might be if I weren't doing that). After this terrible episode when I went to the doctor and they put me on something to take everyday I have to sometimes remind myself not to get too freaked out.

Saturday we did hardly nothing all day. I slept until 9:30 and DH made breakfast for me. We just relaxed all day...which was fine for me as I had a dull headache that would have been a horomonal migraine if the doctor did not have me on ibuprofen 24/7 when I am on my period for the pain. We did go to the hockey game Saturday night (tickets bought earlier in the week. It was a good game, but I found myself feeling spacey most of the time we were there...lol...probably from the heavy blood loss....I had to go the bathroom and 'freshen' up after each period.

Sunday we went to Mass and then back home. Did some cleaning and laundry and puttered around some. DH still needs to decide what he is going to do about his diet...I cannot do it for him and I cannot make him do it. He is a grown man and I will not treat him in any other way. I told him it would thrill me if we were doing this together but otherwise...I told him to decide so I can put my menu and grocery list together. That I need to know if he is cutting carbs and keeping beef or just lowering his carbs and going to chicken and pork and no beef except on rare occassions....he has to make a choice.

So today is work and I should hear from the body shop about Black Betty. I will be glad to have her home (even if I am not driving her right now). Will try to finish the laundry after work and get some more housework done.

Superbowl party at my nephews this weekend. I am doing chicken wings, and a buffalo dip and taco dip. Will bring the chips (and my own tortilla chips for me) and some celery for my buffalo dip.

Sorry that darned ol' Tom is kicking you around! Sounds like a great weekend though. My hubby does the low carb thing with me, but it took him a while to make the decision. I just let my success do the talking and never said a word to him about it. He does all the cooking and was making 2 meals, so maybe that's what did it...he got tired of cooking different foods for both of us and knew that I had made this a lifestyle change, so he changed to cut back on his cooking load! lol Have a great week and hope BB is back soon!

Estimate for Black Betty's cosmetic surgery for the 'hit and run' that happened. $1,358.64 and we will pay $250.00 of that out of our pocket. Really makes me angry that people are so careless and would do something like that. They said she may be ready later this week, and they would call me when she goest to the paint shop.

It just struck me as I was working that in 5.3# I will be in Onederland! Been a long time since I have been there. I know I was at 170 in January 0f 2008 and stopped weighing or tracking after then. By December of 2008 I was at 222#....so I guess the last time I was in Onederland was probably around June of 2008. I am very excited.

TOM kicks me EVERY dang month! last year I got on progesterone, and it helped a LOT, and spirolactone for half the month. Now just take spirolactone from time to time. Hope your hubby gets on board.I will send motivational wishes to him through the net.

Thanks Lizzy; I hope he does too. Most importantly it will be better for his health. I think I am going to have to sneak daily and start throwing a few things out at a time. Over the weekend he said "well we aren't wasting a lot of food". He can still have his hotdogs and some chips...he doesn't have to be hardcore like me, but really it is the sweets and cereals and wanting to eat rice EVERYDAY.

I'm beyond, & not missing that darn TOM at all... although menopause certainly has its moments too:)! Hang in there... as if you have any other choice! Sounds you had a nice weekend & hope its a good week for you too!
