Good Morning! I have some good news to share. (I love sharing good news) Although I'm not losing pounds, grrrr, I have reduced my waist by 5 1/2 inches since I started this better way of eatng last June. 41 1/2 inches has become 36 inches. I have always been "apple shaped" and it became worse after quitting smoking and menopause, so this is very significant for me, my "trouble spot" you might say. Furthermore, when I had my checkup two months ago, I was fine except for my BP which was 150/105. I was quite upset by this. I went home, got on Fat Secret, changed my diet to the Dash diet and put sodium as part of my food journal. Then I signed off and went for a walk, which I have continued doing 4-5 days a week. Now, after 2 months, my BP is 110/70. I feel I have accomplished a good thing for myself and wanted to share with my FS friends. Thank you for all the support. There were, and will continue to be, days I couldn't get through without you. I am very grateful. Teri
