I have been doing a lot of weight lifting. I can see more definition in my arms. Not showing much results on the scale a bit disappointing. I know muscle out weighs fat. Just hoping I see more results soon. Took today off exercising. Going back into the fray tomorrow (today). Look out Jillian's extreme shed and shred...coming after you
200.0 lb Lost so far: 26.0 lb.    Still to go: 70.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Muscle is more dense than fat and takes up less room, so you can technically weigh more and be a smaller size. But it takes a lot of weeks/months of hard work for a women to even gain one pound of muscle. When you first start weight lifting, your muscles retain water to help them heal. This can show on the scale as a temporary gain, no loss, or small loss. As you build muscle, your metabolism will increase at rest, which in turn will help you lose better and maintain the weight easier at goal. But it takes time. Take your measurements so you can see loss of inches. You should start to notice fat loss in your body soon. Keep at it and the scale will eventually follow. Good luck!

I know how you feel. I started Jillian's Ripped in 30 again a few weeks ago and the scale is not budging the way I had hoped. I have always been athletic and fit but have had 2 children in the last 3 years. It was easy when I was breastfeeding the babies and working out because the weight just fell off but now the babies are toddlers so no more mommy feedings. My biggest issue today is tracking my food...feels like it takes more time than I have to write it down or log it on my phone. I try to stick to it then keep falling off. I really need a buddy for encouragment and support. Thanks for listening and blessings to you.
