Day 4:
This morning, I got up at 5:30 and walked Lacey. She always wakes me up no later than 6:00. Lucky for her, I'm a morning person!!

Breakfast:
Egg Beaters with ff cheese and asparagus. I also had a glass of Metamucil......yum, yum!

My BF (I always have a hard time saying "boyfriend" because I'm 44!!) is having a party at his house for my son and a few of his friends. I am most appreciative of his kind gesture.

I know this website is a platform for discussing diets, but sometimes I need to vent/share/seek insight for my personal life. Rodney, BF, has a home here, but works in another state.....two weeks on, one week off. His daughter is here; therefore, he maintains a home here. We have been dating close to a year and this long distance "thing" started in March. When he is here, he spends most of his time with his daughter, which I underdstand and a virtue I admire in him, but it still is hard. I get to see him about 4 days out of the month. I love him, but how can we sustain a relationship?? He hopes to move back here if the right job opportunity comes his way. Sometimes I wonder if I am wasting my time.

Thanks for letting me vent!!!

Looks like you are doing marvelous! Long distance relationships, I can only imagine! I guess just keep having fun and see where it lands you. Sounds like a fun party for your son! Have a great time!

My hubby and I had a long distance relationship. He was in Mesa, Az. I was in Twin Falls, Idaho. It only lasted about 4 months for us because we got tired of paying airfare every other weekend to see each other! Then we wanted to see each other every week and thats just crazy airfare money! So he proposed and I moved here to plan the wedding and settle in. We didn't have small children though, he has no children and mine was 18. I'm sure having youngsters changes things a lot! I believe long distance relationships CAN work as long as everything else is in place. My ex was in the Special Ops and he was gone MORE than he was home, that worked too....we only split after our daughter passed. I would say if you love each other and you are both working together to make each other happy, everything will fall into place. Vent anytime! Thats what we're here for. After all, lifes happenings DO effect our health and our eating. I'm thinking of ya.
