I am alive

Thank you Jon for checking on me, I have not been online for ages, but I am on the mend now.
I can't remember the last time I was too ill to even get out of bed, or do anything else. It was awful, not like me at all. A week sunday I woke up & just felt rough. Thought drinking lots of water & getting fresh air would sort me out, but by sunday evening I felt really ill. I was able to cope with the blocked/ runny nose, the headaches & the coughs but I had no energy! I was completly drained. So after a whole week I still got some of the symptons but I don't feel ill anymore.

Friday the whole of england came to a standstill anyway: It snowed....about 4 inches, maybe more in some places. It looked so lovely. & as long as I don't have to drive in it....

My eating has been all over the place, I had no real appetite for days. But on a few occasions I did make very bad choices. I couldn't really taste much, so instead of reaching for fresh stuff full of vitamins I indulged in way too much chocolate :(. No exercise for the whole week either. I feel like I have put lots of weight on....more than over christmas. I don't like it!!

But today is a new day. I have got a lot more energy, so I plan to see James tonight. I have packed lots of protein snacks & fresh fruit, so hopefully I will be back on track asap :)

Hope all my buddies are fit and well. I will try to catch up shortly.
BTW....does anybody know what happened to Wiener4? Have not seen her around for ages & can't find her profile anymore either.

Welcome back to the land of the living lol. glad you are feeling better but there is nothing better for losing weight than a lack of appetite... Only joking :) . We have had a load of snow but the cold has made it a bit hard under foot now. It never ceases to amaze me how the UK can't cope with a few inches of snow when other countries just get on with it. I watched the news and people were strippingthe shelves in the shops...is it 1963?? I don't know wiener4 so can't help...sorry :(

Hey S34 it sounds like the same bug that my bf has - he's still trying to shake it 3 weeks later, especially the cough. It's not fun travelling around in this weather, but unfortunately I have to drive to work, about 14 miles. Luckily our council have gritted pretty well so not too bad. Hope you get back on track soon....

I know exactly what you mean...that nasty bug is at work on both sides of the pond, and it is awful. So glad you are feeling better! Have a great week!
