I'm a little annoyed with the scale today. I show only a .2 lb weight loss this week, but that is misleading. I purchased a new scale last week, and it consistently weighs me higher than the old one. By the old scale, I lost 2 lbs this past week. But, the old scale is slowly dying...many of the buttons no longer work...so I figure I might as well suck it up, take a much smaller than is accurate weight loss this week, and start using the new scale.

I was pretty good this past week. I did go out for Chinese food once, and I dabbled with some non-sbd friendly foods. I stayed away from the rice, though....worst I had was the sesame chicken, which is breaded and sweet...and I'm sure full of things I shouldn't be eating. It was a once in a great while treat though, and I know from previous failures that I have to find a way to occasionally eat things that aren't particularly sbd friendly, yet be able to get right back on track the next day. I've been derailed too easily in the past, and have suffered a domino effect...you eat something bad, the cravings come back, you cave and eat something else bad. So far, so good though.
228.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 58.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Its good to hear about the things you really have to watch out for. Thanks for sharing your ideas on how to avoid a rebound. I'm new, in stage 1. I was drawn to your journal entry because I just bought a new scale today with big numbers and digits so there's no question at all. But its not calibrated the same as the other one, that's for sure! I'll see what it does tomorrow morning.
