I know weightloss has its ups and down and can be a struggle, but I really am going to try and enjoy it. And after reading some of my buddies journals and seeing how far they have come and how great it feels, I just can't wait to be where they are now. And I just keep reminding myself all these days of doing it right will pay off!

Its never as easy as we would like it to be. But you are what determines how hard you make it on yourself. Last night I ate over my RDI to lose weight but still ate below maintenance. It tasted good and I don't see any reason to beat myself up about it. I had a snack and didn't go overboard and I don't do it every day nor every week. Instead I was proud of my self control. Just in case you were wondering I had some chocolate rice cakes with peanut butter on them. Kinda like Reeses without the excessive sweetness and crap that I can't pronounce in it. :)

So true blue box! Iamachristianjesusfreak that sounds good! I don't really feel out of control if I have a little snack its more if I let myself eat 5 candy bars instead of.one.

I agree with freak totally. It's easy to think, oh, I slipped up, the whole day is shot, might as well have a free for all. It's much healthier to acknowledge you went over your RDI, but the lower you keep it below maintenance, the more likely you won't affect your losing.

kmartdollie that is how I've been for as long as I can remember. The last couple days I feel like I have better control. I love that feeling!

You can do this. It took me several years to get off the starting block, but once I was in the right frame of mind, and the weight started going down, it was incentive to keep going. If you slip up, it's ok, just get back in the race. Glad to accept your buddy request.
