The sudden 3 pound drop is a surprise. Usually, I know what causes them...I skipped dinner, or skipped beer and therefore skipped late night snacking, or more commonly, I went on a long run the day prior and used up a lot of stored energy. But not this time. Well, I did go lighter on beer last night and the snacking, but not enough to explain this.

I wonder if it's a delayed reaction? Wednesday, I did go for a run, a moderately quick 5.5 miler, at 38 degrees, in the afternoon. That could have used up a lot of energy. But I went out to eat that night and the next night, sushi, which inevitably contains lots of salt. So, the salt led to more water holding, and finally last night I ate at home again, so the water weight is gone?

Just a theory, for which I'll never have any proof.
181.9 lb Lost so far: 5.1 lb.    Still to go: 26.9 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
