OK- is like Tae Kwon Do, Jiu Jitsu, Kenpo, Ishinryu?? DOuble Dragon Karate sounds like the name of a studio not a Martial arts form- (I'm not hatin' just curious- I know how hard it is to tell online if someone is being mean, and I really am just curious to the style you are taking)

Karate is karate. Tae kwon do and jiu jitsu are completely different types of martial arts....

The instructor just told me it was karate. I will find out tonight though. Tae Kwon Do is a Korean form and I know its not that. But I will ask tonight.

I practice Ed Parkers American Kenpo and have been for almost 4 years. I am a black belt candidate (should be taking my black belt test in the next 3 weeks.)

Congrats! I didn't get to ask the instructor tonight about it... so much was going on and I didn't want to sound stupid in front of all the guys... We did sparring tonight. I had no clue what I was doing! LOL I'm the only girl and so the instructor picked me to be his sparring partner... i didn't mind, he's really cute! Ha Ha! yes, i'm married but I can safely look! :)
