Doing Atkins induction. I was loosing the first week but then discovered the Atkins shakes and bars. Not loosing now. Lost 6 lbs in 16 days, what am I doing wrong. Staying under 20 carbs a day. Not hungry at all. Maybe not drinking enough water either. Liz

Atkins shakes and bars stall me to no other. On the Atkins website it says if you are stalling cut out the shakes and bars. Are you drinking coffee? Caffiene can also make you stall do to it making your blood sugar spike.

I agree about the shakes and bars, the bars especially. And yes, you should be drinking LOTS of water. At least half of your weight in ounces of water a day. Make sure you're eating lots of green, leafy veggies. At least 12-15 of your net carbs per day should come from those. Also, if you will log your food here on FatSecret, it will help you, and others, to determine what the causes are of any issues you may have. Good luck to you!

Nix the bars/shakes. Induction is 20 NET carbs per day, not less, with 12-15 of them coming from veggies. Total Carbs - Fiber = NET carbs
