I had a good talk with myself and my knees in the bathtub this morning. We decided that I'd not push us all so much with the other classes I've been trying, that I'd listen to my knees and not stress them out so much, no matter how much the rest of me wants to keep going.

My abs argued that they reallllly wanted & needed that CXWORX class before my Silver Sneakers class today; my knees held fast & said that if they didn't get their way, we wouldn't be going anywhere at all, except maybe to find an orthopedic surgeon.

We all took a vote, and I'll do Silver Sneakers today, Zumba tomorrow (none of us wants to miss Gina's class, lol), and then take it from there. We all want to go to willPower & grace on Friday after Zumba, depending of course on whether my knees feel up to it by then. :o)

I had a good breakfast, paused only for a second by my partner's tin of Frango mint chocolates, then renewed my committment to healthy eating, healthy living all around.

Kat - have I ever mentioned I think we were separated at birth? I tried your 'pose' in my own mirror last night and wish I had the nerve to post a pic because we even have the same legs. Don't ask - ain't gonna happen. Glad your knees won - you have to listen to your body! Would you believe I actually WANTED to treadmill last night but didn't? I'd been on my feet for about 4 hours shopping & making MH's meatballs and my right leg was burning ~ and silly me ~ I didn't want to risk water weight gain in the muscle before my 72 hour weigh in! I'll hit it tonight though - no errands, no pain so far.

Him, I enjoy your journals, will send you a buddy request. Listen to those knees, I got a pair that talk to me all the time too. If we don't listen to them we won't be going anywhere :)
