Trying to think of new "games" for the challenge at work. I've searched the internet so much I think my eyes are crossing. When I'm not looking for games, I'm looking for our final prizes. Everything is so expensive! Weight loss should absolutely be rewarding but it shouldn't come at the cost of selling my first born!
On a personal note, I've been thinking of pushing myself a little harder with a personal challenge and give something up...I know what I want to give up, but not sure if I can. I might die without it. But I'm wondering, if I do give this one thing up, will it make a difference? It doesn't have any calories, but not having it will force me to have water which in turn should make me drop more weight...decisions, decisions.

What are you wanting to give up? I hate water, but I force myself to drink 2-3 of these big blue cupfuls I have in here everyday.

I'm thinking about giving up pop completely. I'm already suffering...

I gave it up a few years ago and I lost 5lbs the first week! It's reeally difficult at first, cause I used to go through a 12-pack a week. Now I get coffee in the morning, water all day, and usually have milk with dinner. I will occasionally (once a month or less) have a root beer. Getting rid of sugary drinks is one of the first things everyone says you need to cut out.

Even with diet pop? How do you curb the caffeine headaches?

Well, I always hated the taste of diet. And once, I read an article that diet pop actually makes you crave sweets because of the artifical sweeteners! Well, like I said, it sucks at first...but eventually they go away. I also started taking cinnamon capsules in the morning for blood sugar and it got rid of me being kinda shakey.

That is the exact item I have decided to give up. I haven't had a soda since last week sometime. I just have to force myself to drink more water and at times coffee.

I only like diet coke but usually only drink one or two a week. Unfortunately, that is not my issue. I find that if I drop a few drops of lemon juice in my water bottles it makes you feel full and makes drinking water easier. I drink several bottles a day. I need to give up alcohol. Errrrr, this will be hard being in Zanesville and still trying to have a social life. Nothing else to do but gout out with friends and eat and have a few drinks.
