This week I really eased into it, and I actually gained weight, oh boy. It might be a monthly thing, but either way it isn't very motivating. Basically, last week I started adding in more fruits and vegetables. I also started eating a small breakfast (better than nothing at all.) I did a few strengthening exercises in my room at night. This week I plan to do more. I will eat even more fruits and veggies during the day, and I will have healthier dinners. I will also begin to work out more intensely.

I am considering doing a juice fast for a few days to see what it's all about and to detox my body. I haven't been able to detox since I quit smoking and I'm sure I am still holding onto plenty of toxins. I watched the documentary "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" and it is very motivating. I just feel like I need a kickstart, or a reboot. I never have any energy, and this might give me the boost I need.

I took some "before" pictures today so that I will have something to compare, since somehow I lost the ones I took a year or two ago. Anyway, I am about the same weight as I was in the last batch so this should be perfect motivation to get back into it. I've got to kick it into high gear, it's time!!
