I have always been tall and very slender and in very good health and was taught to eat very well. In the last 3 years I worked in a job that became very stressfuland worked long hours almost 7 days a week and I really lost myself. I have never had to diet before and dont know how to get started.I think this has lead me into a little bit of a depression, so I really need to know what others may have done.

I am right there with you. I too am tall and never had to worry about weight and always in good health. I am not very active and do have a high stress job which requires hours outside of the normal 8 to 5. I have started walking from 1 to 3 miles a day which I find to be a great stress reliever along with giving much energy. I have been on a no/low carb - high protien diet now for about a month and already lost 10 lbs. Goal is another 12 lbs then learning to maintain.
