Djburney's Journal, 13 January 2013

I guess a little increase is to be expected after so many continuous days of big losses. I'm fine with it as long as I'm not hitting the dreaded plateau again. This is about the weight where I hit it before, I plan on sailing right past it this time.

Really fun weekend, forced myself (with Erin's help) to go hiking yesterday even though it felt too cold (I'm a desert wimp), and today live music in the afternoon and a dinner date tonight. Tomorrow, off and running with my job, going to Yuma to see if I can help them with dropout recovery. Trying to decide if I want to make it a turn-around trip (3 hours each way) or stay in a hotel and drive back Tuesday morning. I'm becoming such a home-body. I have lots of good food here, and I do so much better when I'm at home. But, ughhh that drive is so boring.

Funny we are thinking the same about a plateau again. Thinking if I don't see 2lbs by Friday I may need to change it up again and go back to lower calories....I just feel like I am always starving when doing really low calories. Glad your enjoying the weekend.

You're still down a TON over the last few days, no sweat! You're kicking butt anyways!!! Hopefully you'll drop back down through that plateau area quickly!

I heard it was cold in Phx. Remember my friend Skipper was moving back there (his hometown). He sent a pic of the temp gauge in his truck: 27 degrees. Thought he was getting away from that below freezing stuff! lol. I think you can do a turn-around trip.

I think the best thing for the trip is to just book a hotel and see how you feel towards the end of the day, you can always cancel the room but its always a nice option depending on your energy and that is one hell of a boring trip, I've taken it before. Of course it stays warmer in Yuma and its been bloody cold here in Phoenix.
