this must be a cruel joke. again, walked 3.1 miles this morning but losing next to nothing. i really do love getting up early and walking on the treadmill. i never thought i'd say that out loud. i hope to keep it up and maybe start to see some progress in the coming weeks.
135.6 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 17.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 11 January 2013:
1149 kcal Fat: 33.44g | Prot: 49.49g | Carb: 178.04g.   Breakfast: whole grain bread, whipped butter, caramel creamer. Lunch: 100-calorie wraps, black beans, broccoli, mozz cheese shredded, baby carrots, whips!. Dinner: lite tofu, broccoli, brown rice, soy sauce. Snacks/Other: watermelon, ice cream. more...

Sometimes I get impatient when I think I should be progressing quicker than I am but then I remember that sometimes it takes my body a week or two to realize I'm doing something different. Don't get discouraged, your body will drop the weight when it's ready and you'll thank yourself you didn't quit! It kinda sounds like there's more benefits to walking for you at this point, so enjoy yourself! Stay positive!

thanks for your post howej. I am really frustrated with my weight; however, I do feel some benefits to walking every day. I feel more positive, more energetic and just proud of myself for being less lazy! So, I think I still eat too much (including salt, sugar and fat) but at least I am moving more.
