South Beach Diet phase 1 started 1/7/2013. Beginning weight 175, followed plan stricly & under daily 1625 max calories, with regular gym exercise 1/7, 1/8 1/9. Weight on 1/10 - 169 to 170 lbs.
170.0 lb Lost so far: 5.0 lb.    Still to go: 29.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.

I am a big fan of the South Beach Diet for many reasons, mainly that it's not a fad diet. Encourages the eating of non-processed WHOLE NATURAL FOODS with an emphasis on a low sugar GI diet.(glycemic index based). SBD just encourages how we should eat balanced and healthy and we will lose then maintain our normal range in weight...yeah!! So I am on it again though and only because I gain weight as soon I fall away form the main principles and (for me) eat to many processed carb foods (chips & sweets) and become less active. Bang! the weight gain starts until I choose to stop it. So here I am at phase one and feeling happy, lighter, and IN CONTROL. South Beach Diet PHASE 1 started 1/7/2013. Beginning weight 175 to 176 (my highest weight ever at 45 years old) I followed plan stricly & under daily 1625 max calories, with regular gym exercise 1/7, 1/8 1/9. Weight on 1/10 - 169 to 170 lbs. I just read you are starting over with SBD. I am too, as of today, 1/10/13. I lost weight on SBD before. Then stopped counting calories and carbs in the fall and gained it all back plus some! So frustrating. I hope you do well. Wish me luck too! I want to look great for my son's wedding in September!
