Well yesterday went much better. Managed to stick to the meals I'd planned (and a couple of small treats - planned also) which was great.

Went to bed looking forward to my fast day!


Now it is today (if that makes sense)...not doing so well, very stressful, hard day at work (so headache has come back with a vengeance), but going to try hard not to take it out on my diet.

Tasty soup planned for tonight in my vitamix blender (I love it! Great for post-run recovery shakes) and then a normal Friday.

Its interesting how already the diet is getting me to address my food choices on my "free" days, when technically I can eat what i want.

Off to yoga class soon - my regular thursday treat; hopefully I will relax!!

Good luck on your fasting. I could never do it. When I don't eat I get what has been defined as hangry."A state of anger caused by lack of food; hunger causing a negative change in emotional state." lol My husband can barely stand to put up with me once it hits 10 pm because I don't eat after 7. :)

That is so funny!! Hangry....that is exactly what happens to me. I don't think I could fast on a day that I had to go to work, it's stressful enough at work, I wouldn't want to add to it. I would have to plan it for the weekend so I didn't offend anyone.
