So today is a new day and I have learned a few things. I have learned that the journal writing is important because I can write down all of my feelings instead of eating them. The food journal keeps you accountable but also allows for others to look at what you are doing and try to help in figuring out what you are doing right and wrong. I have not done much with fatsecret this week and I tell yo, I miss the conversation, the friendships and support from everyone. The last few days have been long ones for me but I will be back on the band wagon tomorrow.
310.0 lb Lost so far: 20.0 lb.    Still to go: 120.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
on diet Atkins   losing 17.5 lb a week


That's the way to handle things! yeah I know...we get so busy. But before ya know it you will be thinking ahead about how to handle different situations. BUT....it is always good to be able to have someone there to bounce things off of and to have some reassurance!!!!!

That's a good approach. Don't let a misstep knock you off your long term plan; get right back on the horse (so to speak).

You have been doing a great job. Fat secret is a tool that you can use as much as suits you and your needs for the day, week, or month. I use it every day because being accountable is so important for me to meet my goals. For instance, I did some emotional eating today (carrots and fat free club crackers) and it stunk having to enter it here. I did it anyway and will have a stronger resolve to eat better tomorrow (so I don't need to enter those "cheats").

I agree - the beauty of FS is the inherent accountability. People can look in and know all of your weight-loss business, and that's a good thing. Try to do your best to log all of your food and exercise...it makes all the difference.

Tina.. You are doing a great job! You've done great with the weight loss and you are also learning this as you go! You are sticking to the plan and that is what matters. Journaling works wanders for you, continue to do so.. also don't be hard on yourself if you miss a few days on the site.. Just make sure you are logging your food if not here - in your personal notes so you can keep up with your carbs.. I commend you for hanging in there and just get back on the wagon (as you say).. Stay strong and focused and remember we are here for you.. We're all on this journey together!
