My weigh in was really bugging me so I jumped on the scales this morning and I'm down three pounds. Didn't feel that bloated and didn't think I lost that much water...maybe the scales have gone weird? There are times when I don't follow my eating plan well or I don't exercise much and then I do expect a bad weigh in but when I do well and have such a gain it worries me. I do know that water weight varies for many reasons but there is always this little voice in my head saying that you are GAINING again, NOTHING you do will make any difference, you might as well give up. Intellectually I know that this isn't true but emotionally it still gets me.
Chilly this morning but the weather man is promising a warmer day today. Back to the housecleaning again. Won't get everything done that I hoped but every little bit helps.

FOL, I wonder at times if we all have a bit floating self-hatred that puts us under attack at times. I notice how I have given in to certain foods that are not part of my heath regime and I've had a floating doubt that comes spilling in and says, "Last time you had a cheat day it lasted over a year!" I think it's part of my inner-self keeping vigil over my situation and steering me to a better place to be mentally. I stop the behavior right away. You've been doing so well. I hope you know how inspiring you are to me and our other buddies! Keep up the great work and enjoy your pretty weather. It's been snowing off and on here on our mountain and the temp has been around 32F. Love to you and doggies!

I have felt exactly the same way you do at times. I started looking at my weight in relationship to times of the month and it seems that my body loses weight very fast at some times of the month and then at others I lose and gain the same 1-2 pounds. Over the entire month I tend to lose weight, so I wonder if women should weigh themselves monthly instead of weekly?? Then we wouldn't be tortured with the water weight dilemma.
