Day after Christmas and so glad that it has come and gone.. Had a wonderful time yesterday with the family. The kids were happy and showed it!..

You all know that I was struggling with the upcoming feast and I think I did alright.. This is a quote from Thynes and it is soooo how I feel.. Her quote: "Tons of food, tons of carbs and alot of drinks! Didn't really over eat but the choices I made were BAD and now I am feeling it. Was it worth it? " Well 1st let me say I did really well with the food choices.. I had ham, green beans and salad.. 2 plates of the same.. I stayed away from the breads, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese..
This is where I went wrong:
1/2 glass of Ballatore champagne (wine)
1/4 slice of pound cake and
2 1/2 bites of pecan pie.. That's it!

It was ohh so hard not to eat more but I have to say I did it! I took those bites and threw the plate away! :)

So that is 1 day down and the rest of the day to go! This morning I had my eggs and bacon and the rest of the day I will stick to plan as expected.. if my sister comes by i will probably have a drink but that's it! Do not want to carry the festivities thru the weekend like I did for Thanksgiving..

I did work out yesterday and today in the morning so at least I am sticking to the exercise regimen..I am going to weigh in tomorrow morning to see if there is any damage..

Ok ladies so we have 6 more days to the challenge and the beginning of the New Year.. Let's all hang in there.

P.S. I do plan on reporting any wrongdoings (with my eating) so please bare with me.. I feel like if I am not honest and report that will give me more reason to slip up..

Good for you on logging all the slip ups! I am doing the same and it does help me to not binge, but rather to just taste. Just a couple bites of pecan pie?? You have more control then I do! Keep it up and I am also looking forwards to the challenge!
