Tis the season to be jolly! As I'm sure everyone else's Christmas Eve morning is, it's chaos around the house. Gifts to wrap, cleaning to finish, cooking to start and finish, all while keeping peace with the rest of the family and still finding time to keep the healthy eating in order. As many of us have over the past couple of weeks, I've been battling the treats challenge. I have to just stay away while others are snacking or they're doing everything possible to get me to snack with them. Unfortunately, our family has always celebrated with food....and lots of it. Of course, there are always healthy choices, but there are also the bad foods around too. I will be leaving to visit more family right after Christmas until New Years Eve. I am so excited about Angie's New Years Challenge to get things back on track! Instead of trying to lose weight throughout Christmas/New Years. I'm going to concentrate on maintaining where I am and prevent gain.

I hope everyone is able to have a wonderful Christmas/New Years Celebration without being set back too much!

Rachel, Your journal entry is very well stated.. I am going to ditto and piggyback on what you said.. :) Everything you said hits home from the treats, foods surrounding, etc etc.. This challenge is going to come right on time. I like you will be trying to maintain for the Christmas day festivities.. Maintenance will be the key, and hang in there girlie! You have yourself a wonderful Christmas!
