CJT1217's Journal, 17 December 2012

The holidays are tough for maintaining good eating habits. From Thanksgiving, my bday, to Xmas, and New Years, discipline is out the door. If you're maintaining, right now, I salute you!

Happy holidays, my friends! To good health and happiness!

Back at you, Clifford! Maintaining is all I am doing. Trying to lose a bit but just not enough time to exercise and do everything.

Happy holidays to you too! :)

I know you are FAR from alone with this. I've been there. It's not until recently I've gotten going again. I will take the salute. Now come join me. Happy holidays - even with an RDI.

I hear ya. It's a tough time. Somehow I've garnered up some motivation - you can find some in there too, to at least maintain!!

yep. holidays are hard. That's why we all make resolutions on new years day!

Ya, me resolution will be to get back on track. I've decided to indulge for a few reasons. One being that I fully understand I'll be packing on lbs and will most definitely work it back off again after the holidays. Two being that I'll have my four wisdom teeth extracted this friday so I'll be living on protein shakes and jello for a few days. And three, well, I've worked so hard throughout the year, that I deserve a momentary break. I can already feel my pants getting tighter hahah! But it's all gooooood ;D This will motivate me to come back with a vengeance!

Tight pants are definitely a mean wakeup call - my dress slacks have been a little too tight right after lunch lately, ugh.. Re: the wisdom teeth... Ouch ouch ouch!! Hope yours go well, my sister got dry sockets and was totally swollen and miserable - I'm sure you'll be fine! :)

I definitely foresee swollen chipmunk cheeks! I'm sure ice and the vicodin will help!

Haha when I first glanced at this comment I saw "I'm sure ice and vodka will help!" :) I guess that's always an option too, but just not mixed with your vicodin...

you can have one with vicodin :) My wisdom teeth removal was fine, except for the tylenol 3 they gave me made my stomach upset and puking. So I just toughed it out with OTC aleve.

Hmm... ice and vodka would be a viable option, no? >=) That should be my diet for the duration of the initial healing. Along with protein shakes for sustenance. bwahahah!

Ice and vodka, sounds good! Same thing happened to me jess - the vicodin when I got mine out made me throw up so I just took regular OTC stuff. Pudding and jello cliff. Ohhh jello shots????
19 Dec 12 by member: Bkeller1023
Hahaha vodka in your protein shakes and jello shots - I think we have a winning combo!!
19 Dec 12 by member: erika2633
I think fruit punch vodka shots will do quite nicely in between the protein shakes! Extraction is at 1115, all 4, no complications expected. Think I can be out and about by 8pm? >=)?

Pudding shots - They are sweet, alcoholic drinks based on pudding. The shots are fairly easy to make, but they must be made with instant pudding mix. The completed shots can be frozen if there's no need to eat them immediately Instant Pudding (make as directed) - 3 oz Kaluha & 3 oz Baileys - 8 oz. Whipped Cream

Enough jello shots (we make both every holiday lol) and you won't needs the meds...done! I had all 4 done when I was about 28 and only took prescription meds that night and then was fine with OTC. Man up Clifford!

I just like to know what to expect, jr! But in the end, I am a beast!

I'll definitely have to try those pudding shots too!
19 Dec 12 by member: CJT1217
I wanna make those pudding shots now! They sound delicious!!!
