It is like my body is kicking and screaming to get to 213. I have been lingering in the 214's and yesterday thought I finally broke it and then today right back to it. Now I know TOM is around the corner but not sure it is that. Maybe my body just needs some adjustment time...we will see there too.

Today I am doing a fast and will break it at dinner time and see if that shakes it up some. It is a bit frustrating but at the same time I know that if I keep at it I will break this mini barrier too. I have done it before and will do so again.

I do know that I need to get some more test strips. I ran out and it has been so LONG since I got them I cannot even remember if I got them behind the counter or not. I did not see them on the shelf so I will ask our pharmacy if they have Ketone strips behind the counter. That will help me too. Even if the scale is not moving or is bouncing around a little if I see that I am burning that is good.

It could be worse...I could be gaining and although it is jumping around it is staying around the same place so I am not really considering that a gain so much. My body will adjust and then we will move on.

Okay..that is me working things out in my head and giving myself a pep talk...lol.

I need to get Christmas cards...didn't get them yesterday it was snowing and DH is in my Avalanche and left his Challenger home. I did drive it to the store but wasn't going to venture out further than that. As long as things remain clear today I will go get the cards and then hit the mall for some shopping for him. I need to finish up two nieces and two nephews and I will be done....I think.

Yep, staying the same may not be as great as losing but at least it's not gaining. I'm sure your fast will shake up the body and tomorrow you'll be posting 213 maybe even 212. I don't know if your screen shows what mine shows but you have an incredible slope on your weight history - go glance at it and you'll remember the great work you've done.

I did the same thing, staying around 192-194 for 2 months! I did the 24-hour fast Monday-Tuesday, and now I'm dropping again, below 192. I'll really believe it when I get below 190. You really are doing great, and I hope the fast helps you too.

The scale will show how hard you're working, so don't despair, especially at this time of year. Many others will be happy if they just don't gain over the holidays. But I can relate to your frustration & hope your fast today works. I had been a daily weigher & still do most days, but realize there will always be variations & plateaus. Hang in there -- that scale will be moving downward again before you know it:)

That graph looks like you're just rollin' on down the hill! LOL .. We all stall now and then, but at least you know that happens, and you know that it's okay, just frustrating! I think you're doing awesome, Jamie :) And I love your new pic! So pretty! :D

Awesome self pep talk! You are doing an amazing job. Sometimes we all stall at least you're not gaining. I hope your fast shakes things up for you and gets things going again. I need to get some of the strips as well just so I can really watch what's going on a bit closer. They have them on amazon for less than $10.00/100. I may check with the pharmacy tomorrow and see if they have them there as well. Keep up all the hard work. You are one pretty lady!

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the words of support. I will keep doing what I am supposed to do and I know the scale will start moving again. I don't think it is really too bad for the scale to stale for a little while. I think it gives my body a chance to adapt and then move on. However, it is frustrating.
