The original weight was not accurate. I was(of course!)on the shy side of what the reality is. I just weighed myself this morning for the first time since October when I had to go in for a hospital intervention (not surgery). I was 90 kg then and have put on weight since then. I have not been able to correct the original weight statement so I will have to just pretend that I put these kg on in the last 2 days! The weight this morning before breakfast was 93 kg. We have, for now, an analogue scale so I cannot really say anything in grams. My husband is on a life style change and has lost a few stone already. He now wants to have a digital scale in the house, because he is not going to go to weight watchers any more. It was very helpful for him for a long time, but his erratic schedule of commitments as a musician did not go down well with the WW convenor. So, we are on our own,,, or, rather he is on his own and I am here with you all.

So, as a journal entry: I did 1.5 hrs on the treadmill last night, then some floor stretching to cool down. I had a couple of spoonfuls of fatfree natural yogurt before going to bed after midnight (long days)
During the day: I start the day with a tea (no milk)later my brunch was some lean venison sausages (Tesco) cooked on a stone "grill". Later, I crushed some almonds in a mortar and added 2 tbl spoons of honey. I drank more than 60 fluid oz. of filtered water and had other pots of tea, mostly green with aromas. I ate 2 more of the toasted 5 grain bread. I am startled to find out that with all the vegies in the house I did not even eat a carrot yesterday. I do not remember eating a vegie! I usually do, but I was in such a study mode that it skipped my mind. I had 2 bananas and 2 apples.Ahh... before my 2 hour long online class for my PG Dip I made my husband and myself (he was going out for a rehearsal) semi skimmed milk, tablet sweetners, (no calorie type)95% chocolate melted into it and cinnamon (lots!) Afterwards, I have to say I ate 2 (4 pts) of his weight watcher bars and 1 bag of WW crisps. Then I got the gumption up to move all the furniture around to set up the treadmill. (yes, I put all the furniture back when I am finished...)
Today, I have cooked my aubergines, (pressure cooker, garlic, salt and filtered water)I will unabashedly add some super tasty extra virgin olive oil (Aldi)) I am cooking the last of the venison sausages and toast for breakfast on the stone grill. I will have brown rice and mackeral for early dinner. Fruit will be on the agenda and I will add beansprouts to the rice meal.
Strange about yesterday, I usually eat vegies all the time. Some people have even thought I might be vegetarian for all the vegies I eat.
This journal idea and knowing that I am talking with others who are going thru the same situation of being older, active and yet tribulating with food and weight is really quite a relief. I like the idea of sharing, telling and listening.
