The challenge has started. I want to stay below 1800 calories. I have been very proud of myself for drinking water instead of Diet Pepsi or Crystal Light. Much better for me. I am not at 64oz but I am moving up there. Yesterday I went over the 1800 so now I know about where I need to be on what I eat. Good luck everyone. It will be interesting to see where we all are in 2 weeks.

I too have trouble with the water and I went over 1500 yesterday. Maybe I should have chose 1800. Oh well, I'm trying but it is difficult. I need to have more will power.

I do not have any will power either. Recently I baked lots of goodies for my hubby. I have a hard time staying away from them. We can do it if we keep encouraging each other. My DR said set a reachable goal of 1 pound a month. I would like to go a little faster than that but we have to be careful about setting ourselves up for failure. Water weight can make your weight flucuate up to 2 lbs in 24 hours. I used to get very depressed when I would put 2 back on. In it for the long hall.

You really can't-just recognize if you weigh daily you will have some ups and downs and not to get depressed about it. That's one reason they say to only weigh weekly because it can be discouraging. Drinking water is good for you!
