Happy Hump Day!

Got tied up doing errands after work last night and never got back on here to log food, etc. but I think I ate pretty well. Ended the day with some frozen blueberries and SF whipped cream to help take the edge off my carb cravings.

I wanted to thank you all again for your comments the past couple of days. I really appreciated your advice and support. You have got me believing I'm going to make it through the next Holiday!

Good job, Buffy! Hope those blueberries were better than the frozen strawberries DH tried for the first time this week.....we'll be sticking to fresh! It was the best I could do since the grocery store was completely out of fresh ones on Sunday....oh well. But any frozen berries are better than cookies and cake, right?

Newmoonie - Don't worry - those cookies will be soon be gone and you'll no longer be tempted.

Great job, Buffy girl. BTW, I love Wyman's frozen berries, if you HAVE to do frozen.

Sandy - These were supposed to be frozen wild blueberries and I'll admit I expected more (considering how much I paid). But they got me over the hump. And much better for me too!

Heather - Thanks for that! Wish I had just half of your self control. Going to look for the Wyman's next time.

Chiming in on the frozen berries, I didn't much care for them either, but I will use them for muffins though. We got 5 pounds of fresh blueberries & I froze them, now those are way much better than the store bought ones, but I have never tried them just in a bowl with whipped cream, maybe I will!

gg - Am drooling at the thought of all those blueberries! Since I hate to bake, having them in a bowl work well for me.

They sell Wymans at Costco - next to their great frozen strawberries. We never eat them alone - ALWAYS in a smoothie. Now the smoothies are for DH because there are too many carbs. I put 15 strawberries, 1 full cup of blueberries, 1/2 cup of pineapple, 4 scoops CFW Whey powder, 1 cup of fruit juice and 4 TBSP of Ground flax. in the blender. I put in his 3 to go cups and freeze them. He nukes them for 1 min or so in A.M. and off he goes. He runs a machine that doesn't stop for 10 hours straight and rarely eats lunch so this is his food til dinner often. Egad I talk a lot - and on your journal. All I meant to say is Costco has the berries! :) You did good last night. I spent the night at 3 stores too.

I love blueberries - we have none in the shops at the moment- I wanted to have them with this lovely Soya yoghurt that I now get. Buffy you did good yesterday - hope you are feeling better today :)

Tracy - I hate that you cannot find them because blueberries and yogurt make such a nice combination. Can you buy gooseberries?

Buffy both of the supermarkets I shop at have frozen mixed berries - but they just look a bit of a mess and not very appealing - but will keep an eye out for them as I'm sure they are seasonal here.

We have Schwans home delivery here and their frozen mixed berries are great. They look as if they were frozen right off the vine - not yucky or mashed like the ones at the grocery. I leave them frozen and make them my 50 Cal snack. - they're a wonderful mix of tart and sweet.
