Okay so down a couple of ounces this morning and just to have an idea of how out of whack my body is...last night my weight was over 4# higher than it was yesterday morning. I definitely did not get up all night using the bathroom.

So I am sticking to my low carb and I know once this passes things will be back to normal. Busy week this week. I need to go get more lights for the tree so I can put the decorations on it. I got some Christmas decorations out yesteray but still have more and need to do the village but one thing at a time.

Maybe next weekend we are going to a working ranch and staying a night or two...we purchased this at a silent auction for the Boy Scouts and need to use it. We also have a hotel stay down town to use this month. AND trying to squeeze in a visit to Leavenworth before Christmas so a LOT going on.

I am in a couple of new challenges...one of them back to the basics of Atkins. I am trying to add some of the veggies back in but probably will not be my best challenge.

Our Lucy is doing well. Need to get her back in to see the vet..they didnt get her in last week and my daughter has removed quite a bit of her stitches. She is taking her herbal supplements and benadryl everyday and we will be hopeful of how they work for her.

They say your body gains about 5-10 lbs a day and when you sleep you will burn a lot off and also going to the bathroom through out the day also fluxuates it. Your natural weight is in the morning after using the bathrom and not drinking anything.

Jaime... I weigh myself every morning and every night. I usually will lose 2-4 pounds overnight while sleeping. True weight is after waking from a long sleep before eating or drinking anything. After the 2 week induction, I am going back to fasting twice a week. I just need to bounce back from my recent binges. It does sound like this is going to be a busy month for you. The first two weeks of December will be hectic as I will be wrapping up this semester of school but looking forward to my Christmas break!

I weigh myself at least twice a day too...that is how I learned where to try to draw the sodium. Usually I am a couple of pounds heavier at night but typically not 4 (lol). I get my true weight when I wake in the morning (use the bathroom) and before drinking or eating anything. I think I will go back to fasting too. It did make me feel better and more alert in the mornings. You will be very busy with wrapping up your semester! I know you are looking forward to those days off. I think I have a couple of vacation days left so I will probably throw those in the mix to try to make a longer weekend. Have to work this Saturday (end of year inventory) so it will be a long week after the short one). Thanks to both of you for the comments.

I always account for +/- 5 lbs... water, sodium, clothing, various (innumerable) factors can change it. So I like to keep everything regarding weight approximate. Don't get too hung up on it :) your body is FINE there is nothing abnormal about you my dear!!

Jaime I do the same thing - twice a day and I've seen my scale jump 5 lb's before, by the next day I'm right back to where I was. It's scary at times, but I never get excited over it lol. Sounds like you are going to be a very busy person this month just remember to breath every now and again lol.
