I am taking off yet another day from the gym. Yesterday I had appointments, today I had appointments and I have to make pies all afternoon for Thanksgiving. Tomorrow I will be eating, and I probably won't go to the gym until Friday. Oh well. I am going to have a little bit of potatoes and a little bit of stuffing with my turkey and green beans this year - my doctor has given me permission to have high blood sugar on Thanksgiving, Christmas and my birthday. Whoo hoo. I guess I will test after I eat, it will probably be terrible. Like close to 200. Oh well. I intend to get out and take a nice walk to digest the food afterwards, and hopefully that will help my blood sugar. I did walk the dog for 30 minutes today, so at least I got SOME exercise.

It is OK to enjoy yourself on special days, don't you think? Love your little dog - I bet he is happy when you walk him! If you spread the carbs out during the ay, does that help? I am making and bringing Szechuan green beans; but also making corn casserole and baked sweet potatoes! LOL, it will be a carbopalooza!
