Djburney's Journal, 16 November 2012

Ok, so eating 2000 calories is working...I'm pretty excited, I can tell you that! I starved myself down 55 lbs, and didn't know that along with my already pretty low carb diet, I could still eat fat. WOW! Happy Dance at my house.

It's Friday, I have some fun plans for the weekend (a date!) and the weather in Phoenix is stunning. While most of the country gets sleet and rain and snow, we have sun sun sun. I have hiking plans for both days, and something fun coming out of that is that people want to go with me. It's a wonderful healthy activity that I can do with friends, a date, or just alone. Have you noticed how most social activities involve eating and drinking? It's nice to find one that will actually help my progress instead of hinder it.

I really appreciate the tips I've been getting this week from my FS buddies. It helps...a lot! I've read every website you've sent me, kept the recipes, listened to the success stories. Thank you!

Great to hear you are seeing the scale move down for you with the new experiment. I love how we all can try different ways, and for some it works and for others not so well...so we just keep experimenting. ANd we all seem to continue to lose weight. I think the key is staying engaged and not getting bored. Ths is why I keep trying different combinations and percentages of macronutrients. Good luck and have a great date!

The date is tomorrow, staying home tonight, indulging in a little vino. I hope this low carb high fat continues to work, I spent $100 on food today for it. It's a lot more expensive than starving.
