Lost a bit of weight in only a few days, pretty certain bowel movements and water retention had a role to play.... Quitting smoking really affects your body physically in ways that I was not quite prepared for.

Day 15 of no smoking or nicotine!

First I want to say congratulations for starting on your new healthier way of eating and for the extra effort of quitting your smoking habit. I am also trying to do the same. I have not given up the cigarettes yet - just cut down. Planning on saying goodbye to them before the week is up. What have you been going through? Are you using anything to help you quit or did you just do it cold turkey? I think I can stick to a diet easier than I can give up smoking! I am so afraid I will want to eat more when I do quit. Keep up the good work! I envy you on having 15 days behind you.
