I am officially "overweight" how sad it is to be happy about that but my bmi is no longer in the obese range. WOO HOO!!!! I have a bmi of 29.8 and now need to lose 26 lbs. to be "normal". But I know with God I can do anything!!!! I have lost 26 lbs. in 11 weeks so my goal is to be a healthy weight by September 1st.
163.0 lb Lost so far: 26.0 lb.    Still to go: 48.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 16 June 2010:
1544 kcal Fat: 71.71g | Prot: 67.31g | Carb: 158.43g.   Breakfast: egg, bacon farmland, Southern Hash Browns. Lunch: long grain and wild rice. Dinner: tortilla chips tostito, shredded mild cheddar cheese, taco seasoning, tomato, lettuce, onion, black olive, deer meat, sour cream. Snacks/Other: cool whip lite, jolly rancher, pumpkin pie. more...

Well done! when I started out I was 130 lb with a BMI of 26 (yes, I really am that short :P), just 3 lbs from the obese mark (at my age a BMI of 26.7 or over is classed as obese :|) - thats what really motivated me. When I got under 120 lb I was no longer classed as overweight - phew. It's a great feeling, good luck!

I'm so excited to hear you're not considered "obese" anymore, that's so freakin awesome! You should be so proud of yourself... I can't wait to watch you reach that healthy weight in Sept. I absolutely know you can do it! :) Thanks for the comment on my journal also... I'll try to get a picture up of me and Justin tonight after I get home from the gym <3

You are doing great :) I think that chart is a bunch of hooey, but it's still nice not to be considered "obese". I find the whole concept that 199 is obese and 198 is not rather stupid (those are MY numbers, yes I'm tall) but I hated when doctors would say I was obese, so I'm really glad I'll never hear it again. And neither will you!!!
