Election Day - Not losing weight as I'd like. Eating a lot of beans, lentils, hummus etc..Legumes are good for exercise, great energy and I've been able to do long walks, runs, and even hours of basketball without lapses of energy. Unfortunately, i haven't been losing weight. There is a balance there, I like the Pale, just hard to stay disciplined on it. I seem to break with it when I know i will be working out.
260.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 35.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Legumes are not Paleo. It seems like you have a crazy calorie deficit most days but you're getting too many calories from carbs and not enough from protein and fats. Marksdailyapple.com recommends keeping carbs under 100g/day for "effortless weight loss" and 100-150 to maintain. http://www.marksdailyapple.com... -my 2 cents

good call. yes, i think my carbs are too high. I'm about 200g/day. snacks and legumes. cutting carbs is hard..
