Have been nearly crippled the last couple months.. the heel spur actually turned out to be Plantar Faciitis, Retrocalcanael Exotosis, and a little dose of Achilles tendinitis. In short, my left foot is borked.

I am cautioned to stretch like my foot depended on it, which it sort of does, since surgery is the next option, and I would choose to avoid that if at all possible. The lack of being able to walk got me discouraged with the diet for a long time, and I gained back 15 lbs, have subsequently lost about 5, and don't seem to want to budge. sigh. discouraging. discouraged.

The good news is, I just accepted my old job back, and will be returning by July. The walking required is going to prove a challenge, if I see no improvement by that time, but I'll hobble if I have to- looking forward to a paycheck again.

I have it too. There are many things you can do. First, get some foot cushions form the drug store. Put them in your shoes. They help the pain so much. Stretching every day is really important. Google some and do them ever day. Get a bottle and fill it 3/4 with water and freeze it. Take it out and roll your foot back and forth for about 10 min a few times a day. I had to change up my exercise. I am riding a bike now for cardio because of my injury. It's getting better though. Good luck, it can take a while to heal (no pun intended, lol).
