Great work! Losing 20% of yourself is no easy feat. How do you feel compared to when you started? I ask because the improvements in mood, energy, and chronic pain levels that often go along with significant weight loss can sometimes take a back seat to fatigue and mood problems that can result from prolonged dieting - in which case a week or two diet break might be in order.

Thank you Nimm, it feels very good. I do have more energy and tend to spend much less time on the couch. Hmmmmm...you'd think the house would be cleaner. Did my first 5K walk this past weekend and I am thinking of signing up for one on Thanks Giving day now too. As for constant pain, my leg will never be 100% better but I just ignore it for the most part. It does not hurt at all like it was, but now and again it reminds me that it is still a tad angry. Might have to start to pass on the jumping jacks, but then I really don't like them anyhow. Mood swings hmmmm, now those I have been attributing to other female factors never thouht if them being related to this new program of eating. (Hate the word diet) Even though your suggestion sounds tempting and yummy with the holiday seaon starting up I don't think a break at this time would be prudent. Being concious and in self-control the next few months might be hard enough without having to reform my good habits after a break. Love the idea though! So how do I feel at this point over all?? Pretty darn good!! Even though I tend not to let loose and wooooooooooooowhoooooooooooooo myself, I am proud. Just holding on and trying not to get cocky about how good I've been doing. Which in turn would lead to some bad choices since you think you have it all under control. (do we ever?) Thank you again for your encouragement! And the great questions, makes one step back and look more at the bigger picture than the number. Very important. :o)

That is so awesome - you should be proud nothing wrong w/that! Keep up the great work!! There is also nothing wrong w/patting yourself on the back - it isn't an easy journey at times and you've done it and you are still going.

Wow ~~ KUDOS to you ~~ 60lbs is fantastic and doing a 5k..even greater. I have never done one ~~ am now considering making that one of my 'marker' goals. Additionally I liked the comments & retrospective thinking about 'now vs then' and will give some thought to my own changes too. As I respect your reserve in whoo'g yourself out of concern of getting cocky (boy, do I know the feeling and the effects of THAT)let me do it for you. Wooooooooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooooooooo Rubie Sue!!! Great job, great work, great progress and Fantastic Outlook! You are an inspiration to me.
