Well it is clear to see why I am not losing any weight. 138% of RDI eaten in one day. Dear lord, it is amazing that I have lost any weight at all. I must curb the need to snack and eat until I am over full.

Water first, food later. That should be how I approach this. I was shocked to see how much I ate in a day.

Last night I made some flax crackers. I am not sure how I really feel about these. The ones that rolled out super thin are delicious, but some of the thicker ones not so much. But it was lovely to have something crunch in my mouth again. I have missed the cracker.

I have started to fill in my food diary at the beginning of the day BEFORE I eat - then if I need to make an adjustment, I can BEFORE I eat it. Filled in todays based on what I planned and realized I really needed to ONLY have one cup of coffee with HWC today or I'd be over my RDI%. I used to never worry about calories, only carbs but now it is everything that factors in. Always having to re-evaluate.

I'm wondering about the chicken wings in yesterday's diary. Are those 6 pieces of chicken wings or 6 whole chicken wings? I've seen conflicting answers as to how to record wings. Since 1 drummette is 55 calories, then I think 1 wing is the total wing (which consists of 3 pieces - we only eat two of them). One whole chicken wing is just under 100 calories. Your entry is for 6 whole wings, not 6 pieces of chicken wings that you get at the restaurant as an appetizer. That really doesn't help your daily much but is something to keep a look out for.

DarleneW101 thanks I changed that it helped a tad, but I am going to keep closer watch from now on. And GigiP that will be my new plan too. I usually log whatever I bring to work with me in the morning, but then at home for dinner not figure it out. And I haven't been logging my food at all. I think I will write it down when I am not near a computer and then input later. Weekends are the worst unless I am working, I never use our home computer, see enough of them at work during the week.
