OPERATION: SUMMER SLIMDOWN: DAY ONE.
So. This is definitely new for me, as I've never actually documented any sort of weight-loss program I've tried (at least not seriously). Granted, I used to attend WeightWatchers, and while I saw results, I wasn't able to really follow through with the long-term diet plan. Hence why I've started my own, personalized program by doing some plan ol' calorie counting. I started this back in late February-early March of this year and lost about ten pounds. Unfortunately, not long after my dog was diagnosed with cancer and liver disease and all thoughts of counting went out the window. As a result, I gained back a few pounds.
Luckily, I was able to lose them again, but keeping them off has been a challenge. It's been a yo-yo cycle, but over the past few weeks I've managed to maintain that original ten pound weight-loss, but I want to move forward with it and start up again. I'm determined to lose at least twenty-five to thirty pounds (including the ten I already lost) before the summer's out, and I'm tired of procrastinating.
