Ketostix registering moderate. I've been batting back and forth between Induction and Rung 1 levels of veggie carbs, and it seems to be OK. I'm losing slowly and steadily again, so I think changing the levels up is OK.|
I've lost 19.8 pounds since I started dieting and 10.5 since I started Atkins. I have .8 pounds to lose until I get to my first goal of 165.
It would be nice if the weight would fall off faster, but honestly it doesn't matter as much when I'm doing a diet where my appetite is under control and the food choices are satisfying. I might have fallen off the wagon by now if I were doing calorie counting/ high carb/ low fat. I'd really like to get most of my weight off before the new year, but I suppose it will take as long as it takes.
I'm finally going back to work this coming Wednesday. The trick will be planning ahead sufficiently to continue this WOE when I'm surrounded by folks who don't give a crap what they put in their mouths. They also celebrate every holiday with ridiculous binge buffets. I'll just have to bring satisfying lunches and snacks and not be much of a joiner.
